The new beta version of watchOS has been released

On November 12th, Apple released the second round of developer testing for watchOS 11.2. However, according to feedback from users on the MacRumors forum and social media, some users have encountered installation difficulties.

Specifically, installation issues seem to be concentrated on the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 products, which is a preliminary conclusion based on the reports collected so far. When these users attempt to upgrade to the latest beta version, the system will display a prompt saying 'Software update failed'. In contrast, users of other models of Apple Watch can easily complete the installation of the beta version.

In response to this issue, Apple may need to re release the second round of beta version of watchOS 11.2 to seek a solution.

In addition, Apple also released multiple developer beta updates today, including the third beta versions of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2, as well as the second beta versions of tvOS 18.2 and HomePod Software 18.2. These updates are expected to be officially launched in December.

According to a previous report by CNMO, watchOS 11 has added an application called "Vitals", which provides users with an overview of daily health indicators to help them understand whether their health status is abnormal. It compares information collected at night, such as heart rate, sleep, respiratory rate, and blood oxygen levels, with data from the past few weeks. Smart Stack has also received updates, adding small tools such as translation and Shazam, and becoming more intelligent, able to recommend suitable tools for users based on time, date, location, and daily habits.
